TC-LASTIC
MAIN DATA
Synthetic rubber based elasticizing and tackifying latex for cement-based mortars and adhesives.MAIN FEATURES
High bonding performance
High elasticity
APPEARANCE
White liquid
STORAGE
12 months in dry place, protected from freezing and high temperatures
FIELDS OF USE
Flexible adhesive
Pour TECHNOS+ or TECHNOLA or TECHNO-XL or TECHNORAP powder into
the latex. The mixture must be stirred until it becomes
creamy. This product is recommended for laying stable natural stone
not affected by humidity or ceramic materials in the following cases:
- medium and large tile sizes on facades or places exposed to considerable temperature variations
- on old tiles outdoors
- on heating floors
- on RASOLASTIK-PLUS and RASOGUM +
- on plasterboard. Use of PRIMER-T PLUS prior to fixing is not essential, but recommended.
Adhesive for vitreous mosaic on net backing, installed in swimming pools.
Dilute TC-LASTIC with water in 1:1 ratio. Blend TECHNOMOS into the obtained mixture. The resulting product provides an extremely tenacious bond and is highly flexible while maintaining the creamy consistency obtained when only water is used for mixing.
Flexible leveling coat
Blend RASO with TC-LASTIC by pouring the powder into the latex. The mixture must be stirred until until the paste is creamy and lump-free. Recommended for use on surfaces exposed to considerable temperature variations, or on cracked concrete.
In this latter case, it is advisable to bury fiberglass net into the first layer. As compared to leveling pastes mixed with water, this product possesses high bonding powers even on difficult substrates, and is also highly elastic.
The surface must be leveled with two coats, the second applied 24 hours after the first and in layers up to 3 mm thick.
Finish the surface with a sponge trowel or flat trowel.
Products mixed with TC-LASTIC can be applied straight onto:
Cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, cement-based screeds, concrete, old ceramic floors.
